Process model for continuous testing of web accessibility

چکیده
The lack of accessibility on websites can result in people with disabilities not accessing information online. Therefore, this research aims to create a process model for continuous web testing by adapting and customizing three methodologies: Deming cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act), Website Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Methodology (WCAG-EM), Total Quality Management. is composed four phases. first phase (Plan) allows defining the problem, its importance, Web Content Guidelines (WCAG) against which it will be evaluated. In addition, determine current situation websites, potential causes problems, classify success criteria principles, guidelines, levels conformity, elaborate solution plan action plan. second (Do) execution correct problems. phase, we should perform automatic evaluation tools, end-users, experts corroborate that changes have had an effect. third (Check) measuring compliance non-compliance defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This also explains reasons non-compliance. fourth last (Act) documents solutions learned inclusion future developments. results through case study functionality applicability. conclusion, proposed evaluation, monitoring, feedback rules, policies, standards experts. We adapt different workgroups work, such as developing accessible mobile applications producing electronic documents.

Feature-based Web Accessibility Testing for Disabled Users
Web accessibility evaluation tools can significantly reduce the time and effort required to carry out website accessibility evaluations. When used carefully throughout the design, implementation, and maintenance phases of Web development, these tools can assist their users in preventing accessibility difficulties, repairing them, and improving the overall quality of Web sites. However, the anal...
متن کاملinvestigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
Outperformance Testing of a Dynamic Assets Portfolio Selection Supplemented with a Continuous Paths Levy Process
This study aims at getting a better performance for optimal stock portfolios by modeling stocks prices dynamics through a continuous paths Levy process. To this end, the share prices are simulated using a multi-dimensional geometric Brownian motion model. Then, we use the results to form the optimal portfolio by maximizing the Sharpe ratio and comparing the findings with the outputs of the conv...

The Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) was established to enhance the accessibility of Web resources for people with disabilities. In this paper we argue that although WAI’s advocacy work has been very successful, the WAI approach is flawed. Rather than WAI’s emphasis on adoption of technical guidelines, the authors argue that the priority should be for a user-focussed approach, which embeds be...
